Learn a Variety of Calculation Strategies
In Grade 2, your child is expected to solve 2-step word problems. This will require them to understand 2-step calculations and be able to add and subtract 2 and 3-digit numbers. They will also begin to study real-life applications of math, such as the value of money and the metric system.
